Are you in a good state?

Tony Robins suggests that in order to be at your peak performance level or when you need to change your mind, you need to do something active in order to be in this peak state.

If you're in a bored, quiet state, your going to act a certain way, probably without a lot of enthusiasm and energy. In order to change from this state you need to make a radical change in your body. If you make a physical change it changes your biochemistry and the determination towards an activity will show up.

Kindergarten do this several times each day. Each activity we do only lasts for 2-4 mins but students are excited and ready to learn each time.

I hope you enjoy the video below.

French Day

Last week we had French Day. Students had so much fun and they consolidated their knowledge of the French language throughout fun rotation activities. Students finished the day completing a French flag that you will soon see on the windows around St John's.

Students have been put in teams 'red' and 'black' and are timed to put the THRASS chart back together. Students love it!

Brain Breaks

We have been doing 'brain breaks' in Kindergarten. Every 30mins we complete dancing, mindfulness and other active activities. We love it!
